The Captain of the Simone Bolivar, Barque Class Three Mast Tall Ship is presented with a photographic album of Boston by Boston dignataries and members of the Sail 2000 Committee. I was invited aboard the Simone Bolivar by it's photographer, Phillipe, met with the cadets and officers for nearly a week. I was invited aboard this final day, the day the Simone Bolivar left Falcoln Pier. it was an experience I will never forget. I did help the photographer in getting his film to the camera shop for development in downtown Boston. On the day the Simone Bolivar left port, I gave the captain a silver dollar for allowing me to be his guest, as a sign of good luck. I have litterally hundreds of photographs just from the Simone Bolivar.
